The Importance of Quantity of Time

Many people do not know the difference between quality of time and quantity of time. Yes, quality of time is important and it is a great thing to have, but would you rather have quality or quantity of time. We live such a fast paced life that at times we do not realize the imprtance of quantity of time. We take vacations whenever we can, and for the time that our jobs allow, we do everything based on when others need us. So, in the end we have neither quality or quantity of time. It all depends on others, mainly a work schedule.

As I spend my vacation in my beautiful island of Puerto Rico, I keep saying to myself; "I wish I could stay longer" or "I wish I did not have to go back to work". Also, as I watch my father who is on "vacation" with his cell phone and his laptop taking business calls and sending e-mails, I realize that he lacks both quality and quantity of time. It is a very sad feeling to know that our lives are conumed by working for others.

But, there are options for people to gain that time factor on every level. Network Marketing offers that opportunity to people, to take back the control of their time. Nobody ever said that building a successful network marketing business was going to be an easy task. I have learned this for myself as it has not been an easy process. Many people give up on their business just because it is not the easy money that they expected it to be. This is a very common mistake that people make when building these type of businesses, this is not a get rich quick scheme, it is a legitimate business that you have to work hard at in order to be successful.

When people give up on their network marketing business they give up on much more than just the business. They give up on themselves, their dreams, and their aspirations of one day being financially independent. That is why I choose not to give up on this business and to not give up on anyone in my organization that has the same exact dreams and aspirations that I do. Many people do not believe that you can start a business with less than a six figure investment. They are so stuck on the traditional ways of doing business and they do not realize that this is the 21st century. There are different ways to do business now, and they are real ways to do business. Yes, there are scams out there as well that is why you as a person must do your research. But Network Marketing is a real way of doing business, if you really think about it all the recent scams have been big corporations, accountants, lawyers, and brokers. Yet, network marketing professionals are the ones that still have a bad reputation.

The first thing that hurts people is there own ignorance. we are not in the industrial revolution times anymore. We are in the era of service oriented industries. Many people just provide services we do not really produce and manufacture things anymore. Network Marketers provide a very simple service. We simply promote a product or a service by sharing with people and building relationships.

The other thing is that people find it very hard to believe that they can run a successful business with such a small start up cost. But me being a business student when I was told that I can start my own business at a cost that is less than a tank of gas, less than a nice outfit, less than a nice dinner for two at a nice restaurant. The Network Marketing Profession

Network Marketing has a really bad reputation. Some people think that you can never make money doing it, others thing that it is just a scam or a rip off. The reality is that Network Marketing is nothing more than a profession. You start out your Network Marketing business, you learn the system with proper training, and eventually you end up doing it for a living. It is just like anything else, you go to work and you make money, if you do not work then you do not make money.

All the recent scams have been have been with brokers and bankers, and these are considered real profession. Yet, nobody looks at all of these as a scam, but as soon as you speak about network marketing they quickly jump on the defensive and think it is a scam.

You can become a network marketing professional through education just like a doctor, lawyer, teacher, or any other profession; you even need training to flip burgers. But, I would rather train and invest my time in a profession that is going to give me an income through the collective efforts of others, give me an income for generations to come, allow me to be my own boss, and give the freedom of doing what I want to do with my time.

With that said not only is Network Marketing a profession, when you really add it up there is no other profession like it.

Do People Really Fail Or Do They Just Quit?

I was watching some videos on the reality of Network Marketing and they were saying that too many people fail doing Network Marketing, or do they? The reality is that Network Marketing is just like everything else in life. People do not fail, they just quit. There is a big difference between these two. How will you ever know if you would have been successful if you stopped trying? How will you know how much money you could have made if you just gave up on your business?

Let's put it in perspective. People sign up to their Network Marketing business, they get their kits, purchase some products, and they are on their way to present the opportunity and take their business to the next level. But, as soon as they start getting rejected they give up. they throw their kits to the side and never use them again. That is not failing, it is quitting. You simply just gave up.

In Network Marketing and life in general, persistence will help you overcome any obstacle. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team. He could have easily quit, but he did not. He just kept trying and eventually became the best basketball player that ever played the game. But, how many guys out there could have been better than Michael Jordan and just gave up on their dream to play basketball. Maybe it was because they felt that they would not make it, or people just shut down their dream. These people did not fail, they quit.

Tiger Woods must have had some bad days playing golf just like people have bad days in general and in Network Marketing. Tiger Woods could have put his golf clubs away and never used them again, but he kept going and is now the best golfer in the world.

So the next time somebody tells you that everyone fails doing Network Marketing ask yourself if these people really failed or they just gave up. Many people just give up and claim they failed because they could not hang in there long enough to be successful. Just think of all the people that had dreams as a child and never followed through with these dreams and just quit.

If you are persistent and never give up, I guarantee that you will be successful but you can not give up and just say that you failed.

People often ask me, why do you even do Network Marketing? My initial thought was that I was doing it to make money. But after thinking about it for a while I realized that it is about way more than just making money. I do what I do because I honestly want to make a difference in many lives all around the world. Network Marketing gives people the opportunity to start high yield, high return businesses and this is an opportunity that not many people have.

When I was introduced to this opportunity my initial thought was just $$$ and then I really processed the information and realized that this can be opportunity to help thousands of people. Are you afraid of being successful? The reality is that many people are, people are scared of taking the neccessary steps to be successful. People get into these comfort zones and never take steps to better themselves, that fear of taking a chance and going after their dreams often limits people to just live mediocre lifestyles. It is the fear of the unknown, but if you do not take a chance, how will you know what would happen? Do you think Bill Gates asked himself, what if I fail? No, he did not, when your dreams and goals are big enough and important enough, failure is just not an option.

You as a person need to train yourself to take that fear of the unknown and turn it into a burning desire to succeed. What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for another opportunity to pass you by or are you waiting for things to just be handed to you on a silver platter? Many times we let opportunity after opportunity just pass us by, and for the most part we end up wondering what would have been if we had taken advantage of these opportunities.

Are You Really Happy?

Are you really happy doing what you are currently doing. Maybe you make enough money to provide your loved ones with the lifestyle you want to give them but you do not have enough time to spend with them. Maybe you are in a situation where you do not make enough money to provide that lifestyle for your loved ones and you do not have the time to spend with them either. You may even have time and money but your health might not be the greatest.

So, are you really happy? When you sit back and think about all those things you ever wanted to achieve, did you do it? Are you driving the car of your dreams, are you living in your dream home? As kids all we do is dream about all those things we want to do when we grow up, then we grow up and become victims of the system in which the majority of the people fail to live up to their fullest potential.

I ask you again, are you really happy? Do not let yourself become just another person that failed in the system that is designed for people to fail. Never give up on those dreams you had as a child, the dream is never too big. If you have not accomplished those dreams is because your plan is not working. What Type of Income do you Want to Earn?

I have learned that there are 2 types of income. This was something that I was really unaware of until not too long ago. Once I learned about the 2 types of incomes I learned that I was headed in the wrong direction, I was literally on my way to being a failure. A good friend of mine took some time out to explain the 2 different types of incomes to me.

First you have Linear Income:

With linear income, which is what we are all used to receiving right now, we trade time for money. We work a certain amount of hours or do a certain amount of jobs to receive a set amount of income.

We work 8-12 hours a day
We work 5-6 days a week

But, this is what really caught my attention because I knew it but I was unaware that this was the direction I was headed in.

We work 40-50 years and after dedicating all that time to working still about 95% of the people that retire under this system in the U.S retire broke. I don't mean broke as living under a bridge, but broke as only have enough money to pay bills and that is it.

Only 4% retire comfortable and only 1% actually achieve financial independence. This is when I realized that I was headed toward that 95%.

Then We Have Residual Income:

Residual Income is when we do the job well done just one time and we receive residual payments for the rest of our lives. There are only 3 ways to earn this type of income. You can write books, sing songs, or you can do Network Marketing.

Under this system a person can work just:
1-3 hours a day
2-3 days a week

This is what really caught my attention:
It is guaranteed that if you connect yourself to a team and an educational system, and of course put in the work.

In the next 2-5 years you can have your financial independence by earning the residual income payments from doing Network Marketing.

So, we put our dreams on hold and keep up with the daily grind. We become so busy that we forget that we even had dreams and we get comfortable with living a mediocre lifestyle. What can we do to make more money in order to achieve all those things we wanted when we were younger. We can get a second job; but what happens to quality time with our loved ones? We can go to school and get an education, this sounds great but it still does not guarantee a job. Tuition is at an all time high, so is the unemployment rate.

There is one thing that you can do to give yourself a chance to achieve all those things you ever wanted to achieve. Great opportunities do not come along often and sometimes we are just so consumed in our daily duties that we do not even realize when they do come along. We get to the point where we are so busy that we do not even take advantage of any opportunity that comes our way.
