Network Marketing has a really bad reputation. Some people think that you can never make money doing it, others thing that it is just a scam or a rip off. The reality is that Network Marketing is nothing more than a profession. You start out your Network Marketing business, you learn the system with proper training, and eventually you end up doing it for a living. It is just like anything else, you go to work and you make money, if you do not work then you do not make money.
All the recent scams have been have been with brokers and bankers, and these are considered real profession. Yet, nobody looks at all of these as a scam, but as soon as you speak about network marketing they quickly jump on the defensive and think it is a scam.
You can become a network marketing professional through education just like a doctor, lawyer, teacher, or any other profession; you even need training to flip burgers. But, I would rather train and invest my time in a profession that is going to give me an income through the collective efforts of others, give me an income for generations to come, allow me to be my own boss, and give the freedom of doing what I want to do with my time.
With that said not only is Network Marketing a profession, when you really add it up there is no other profession like it.
